This is an opportunity to play an executive role with a world renowned provider of solutions and services within the global investment community. The company has enjoyed sustained growth over the past decade and has ambitious plans for new product initiatives. As a member of the company’s senior management team you will oversee teams which have  “end to end” responsibility for products, from setting strategy to bringing new products to the market.

Sales Manager - STP Solutions - Electronic Brokerage - London

A well known and highly successful electronic brokerage business is building its STP capabilities. We seek a lead sales specialist to join the team in London with a mandate to champion the firm's STP offerings in the cash and derivatives markets. Our client is a global firm that is building a counterparty data business division. They sell legal entity data and counterparty data that support risk management and regulatory compliance requirements.

They are looking to add a new business sales executive to their team. You will have experience of successfully selling financial data products, ideally into a reference data environment. You will have a good working knowledge of KYC, AML and MIFID legislation. You will have an established network of contacts amongst asset managers, banks and insurance firms. You will work in a small team and will have a track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.

Reuters May Dispose of Business Units to Gain Regulatory Approval in Thomson Merger

Finextra ran an article yesterday that picks up on a report in the Sunday Telegraph with the thought that Reuters is prepared to sacrifice its fixed income trading platform (which went live in 2005). The report says that Reuters' Trading for Fixed Income is likely to be closed or sold in favour of Thomson's TradeWeb. Other Reuters' products that are under scrutiny are Reuters Estimates and Reuters Fundamentals as Thomson is cited as having stronger products in these areas, including I/B/E/S. A recent article in Wall Street & Technology says that unless details are settled quickly, the integration could put new and renewal agreements on hold for Thomson and Reuters. Article here.

You will be responsible for managing your own projects dealing with senior personnel (Product, Sales, Marketing) and clients (Investment Managers/Hedge Funds) across the globe. You will have very strong communication skills and be able to drive projects forward. You will also be able to grasp new domain areas quickly.
