Our client is a global data vendor with a well-respected reference data business division.

We seek a Sales Executive to work with an allocated group of major accounts, all based in the UK. You will be targeted to grow the revenues by up-selling new and existing products. You will have the support of an account management team who are product specialists. They will assist you in the pre-sales and post-sales sales cycle.

You will understood intra-day and end-of-day data files and the data processes within financial institutions. A knowledge of fixed income markets is useful. You will have experience of building account revenues and will be able to manage high value contract negotiations.

The Merits of a New Exchange

The TImesOnline City Diary today has a few paragraphs about exchange, Plus Markets, and its new cut-price share-dealing service that is to undercut the LSE. The diarist says the new tariffs, announced yesterday, are "fantastically complicated". They also ask what is happening to Project Turquoise, another trading platform set to rival the LSE.

There is newspaper speculation that Plus Markets may eventually be swallowed by Project Turquoise with the suggestion that this would also help with their lengthy search for a CEO, by handing the reins to Simon Brickles.

We seek a Sales Specialist with in-depth knowledge of CDOs to work with a pan-European sales team. This is a client facing role and will require a strong knowledge of CDO pricing, monitoring and surveillance. You will be pro-active and support sales deals as well as initiate new sales opportunities. You will also share market feedback with product development teams.

We are interested in talking with candidates who have gained this experience either with a data firm that has CDO software and/or data products or within a structured finance team (compliance, monitoring etc.)

Client Manager - Funds Portfolio Management Product - based London

We seek a Client Manager to manage large scale client implementations for a portfolio management application as well as supporting your clients' day-to-day product usage. You will have a good understanding of how hedge funds and investment managers use data within their own portfolio applications.
